Switch will not update firmware and when in cli it says it is in read only. Also when I try to configure ssl there is no start up config file. tried multiple times and says the same thing. when i show flash it shows "Compressed Pri Code size = 25976488, Version:08.0.80fT211 (SPS08080d.bin)

" It wont take the actual image 08090f to upgrade to ufi.

I was following the tftp upgrade and everything on the tftp end was configured and was able to transfer. It seems it still didnt take it properly. Does the read-only system error in the log I sent have anything to do with it? I was able to get it to boot after a power outage which led me to try and update the software to the recent starting with the non-ufi to ufi.

Usually, we get such logs when the Upgrade is not done properly and when the flash gets corrupted.

Could you please restart the CLI session and perform the below commands and check if you are getting the same logs?

Thank you for the response and the update.

Now we may need to perform software recovery to the Switch. Please follow the below steps to perform the same.

We need to perform a software recovery since it can be that the image flash is corrupted in basic words the unit is not able to boot up properly and need re-install the image to boot up properly.

I performed software recovery steps per the guide and executed the reload command. The above string is what i got after the reload. Why is it showing next to the versions SPR/SPS 08080d.bin?

Hello, I had stopped working on it as I was able to just have it operational. I am once again trying to update the firmware after a power outage and cannot seem to update to current ufi firmware.

I have observed that your Switch is currently operating on version 08080d on both the partitions.

We highly recommend upgrading the Switch to the suggested version.

The proposed upgrade path entails transitioning from 08.0.80d (your current Switch version) to 08.0.80f and finally to 08.0.95g.
