iOS Unleashed - not seeing network?

I went to go launch my Unleashed app after some time and keep getting the error "not connected to Unleashed network, go to Settings?" - this wasn't an issue before and not sure what tripped it. Oddly, the settings have no local network configuration and when looking through for all apps that have asked for network access I don't see Unleashed on the list. On another thread someone with an Android had to shut of Private DNS I think - I found the equivalent setting in iOS "Private Wi-Fi Address" but toggling it off did not solve this.

The error pops up immediately after entering credentials almost as if it's "stuck" and not even checking anything.

Anyone have this issue/know of a solution!?

I have the same issue. I also can't access the web GUI from "unleashed.ruckuswireless.com" in any web browser.

Another post mentioned this as a related issue.

I have an older iOS device that works and I know Apple has implemented stricter policies over the year concerning interactions between devices on local networks.

I just replied on the other thread, so you mean this works in the older version of IOS but not on newer?
Could you please confirm the versions which is working on and the version which is having a problem?

iPhone 6s - Runs iOS 15.7 - Can access "unleashed.ruckuswireless.com"

iPhone 11, 13, & 14 PRO - Runs iOS 16.2 - Can NOT access "unleashed.ruckuswireless.com"

iPad Pro 2019 and iPhone 14 Pro both running iOS 16.3. Neither can access unleashed.ruckus.com. But weirdly the iPhone has never shown the Local Network access in the settings, whereas the iPad does.

I too am having the same issue!! Both my iPhone 14 and iPad will not connect to the Ruckus. I tried to log in as I always do and it to says not connected to a ruckus network even though I am. Any help or suggestions, I tried a hard reboot and no changes.

I managed to solve this by changing the login destination on the App sign-in page from the default “unleashed.ruckuswireless.com” to the IP address of one of the APs.

Yes, we know it can be done, but you'll be able to add a new system to the unleashed app.

Let's wait for Ruckus to solve the issue as they committed to do so we don't need to have limited solutions workaround

Hey all - thanks for being active on this thread. I had my app changed as per the above to point at the IP address so that does seem to work (while at home only?). If I am not mistaken though, the way the app is designed pointing to the public url it should/intended to be able to work away from the network as well?

On the app, bottom right, says "Change login information". Change the address to the IP address of the router/AP.

I will look, thank you. Do you know how I can find the IP address of the access point? It’s installed in the ceiling so can’t just look on the back of it easily.

Hi @DANIELJBB
If you are aware of the router\modem login, then you can login to it and check the DHCP IP lease section. You can find the IP which AP has taken.
If not.
You can also connect to the SSID which AP is broadcasting, then on the browser type https://unleashed.ruckuswireless.com which will take you the AP login.

I will try. It won’t let me log into the ruckus from the web as well. It just says not connected to a ruckus network. I don’t know how to find the IP as I don’t know how to log into the router /AP itself.

Hi @DANIELJBB

You can also install a IP scanner (free tool) in your PC (when you connect to the Modem from LAN). It will scan all the available IPs in the network and will share the details. This way you can find the IP of the AP.

When I type in the IP it says that it is not a ruckus IP. It absolutely is as I am connected to that AP. Any other suggestions?

There were some issue in the older version of Unleashed app, please update to the latest app version and it should work just fine, if not, please provide the details and we will help you.

I tried to log in today with the app (IOS) and it told me that I wasn't connected to an Unleashed network. Any other options? Thanks.
