iPhone App Upgrade

I am running the latest firmware and latest iPhone app for Unleashed, and every time I log into the app it is asking me to upgrade my application when it is already the latest version.

The latest version of Unleashed app for iOS is 11.140.1 which you are already on.
Could you please help us with the screen shot along with the app version so that I can check.

Thank you for the detailed information you shared.

As per the case description, I understand that you are unable to log into the RUCKUS Unleashed application.

This is a known issue when your RUCKUS Access Points are on an older version which doesn’t let you log into the Unleashed application. To assist you in upgrading your RUCKUS Access Points please help us with the below details.

Please log in to your Unleashed system on a LAPTOP WEB BROWSER using the Master AP IP Address OR https://unleashed.ruckuswireless.com/ ? Please check the current version of your Unleashed Access Points and share a screenshot of the same.

Please make sure you are connected to the RUCKUS Wi-Fi Network to access the same.

If you can’t access using the above link and don’t know the IP Address of the Access Points. Please refer to the below guide to find the IP Address of the Access Point to get the requested information.

How to find my Ruckus “Devices IP address” using free applications:

You should see the below-Unleashed dashboard after finding the IP Address of the AP. Try to log in

That is not correct. I can login just fine. I just want to know why it keeps telling me that I need to upgrade. I can certainly login just fine once I clear the “upgrade” pop up.

As you mentioned your Unleashed application version is 11.140.1 which is the latest one. You can try uninstalling the application from your smartphone and install it again.

Deleting and then reinstalling did not resolve the issue.
This is not a big deal. Hitting “Upgrade App” or “Cancel” from the pop up message easily clears the message and everything is fine after that.
I just was thinking you might know the reason.

Meanwhile, could you please upgrade your Access Point to the latest stable version and check?

We suggest you upgrade your ALL RUCKUS R510 Access Points to version 200.14.6.1.203 which is recently released.

As you can see in the screenshot, which I have included again, it tells me that I have the latest firmware and doesn’t give me option to do anything else. It is already at 200.14. Of course it doesn’t show the sub “build” level, 200.14.6.1.203 but still a moot point since it states that I am on latest firmware.

Please note there are different versions within 200.14

Please log in to your Unleashed system on a LAPTOP WEB BROWSER using the Master AP IP Address OR https://unleashed.ruckuswireless.com/ and upgrade the Access Points as described in my previous post.
