      <title>Internet interruptions/buffering since power cycling Ruckus unit</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Last week I power cycled my ruckus unit and since then I have been having internet interruptions or extremely slow speeds. I had xfinity tech come over and they did not find any issues with the modem. I tried to follow other similar posts and tried to find the ruckus switch ip using the "LanScan" app on my Mac. I see 2 IPs listed as "Ruckus Wireless", but I believe those are the IPs for the APs and not the switch... the mac address for the IPs does not match the MAC address of the switch.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Will it be possibel to get on a call with someone... I am really having interruptions with my work.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color:#333333;font-size:16px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;You should see the Switch Dashboard as shown in the below screenshot to confirm it’s a Switch IP Address.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I see the MAC address of the switch in the LanScan app results. The IP listed is 192.168.1.3 with name Ruckus Wireless. There is "Ping" column in LanScan and it is showing red circle. Also tried on the browser ... i see this:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This site can’t be reached&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;http:// 192.168.1.3&amp;nbsp; is unreachable.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How can I paste images in a post here? Will it be possible to connect over ph to resolve this, it is causing lotta issues for me.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;As I see from the picture you shared, seems like the ethernet cable which is coming from the ISP’s (Internet Service Provider’s) Router or Modem/Router combo is plugged into the wrong port on the Switch panel. &lt;STRONG&gt;It must be plugged into any 1 in-12 ports for new versions, as shown in the below screenshot.&lt;/STRONG&gt; Please unplug the ethernet cable and plug it into the correct port.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Earlier I had seen the switch to have the IP 192.168.1.2, but now after I added the ethernet onto one of the 12 ports, I am again not seeing the switch device in the network scan. However, my internet seems to be working better. I have seen such behavior before where after a power cycle the internet works well for about 20-25 mins and then it dies down. I am unable to see the IP of the switch so I cannot use putty. Do you know why the IP is not being seen in the LanScan app?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I also noticed that the LanScan only shows the IP for the switch when i was connected to my router SSID and not to the switch SSID.&amp;nbsp;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Ruckus-AP.jpg" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/9350i452EDE618CE1950E/image-size/large/is-moderation-mode/true?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="Ruckus-AP.jpg" alt="Ruckus-AP.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried putty but I keep getting message of Connection refused. I tried to use Putty to do ssh on port 22 (which seems enabled on the switch) and it was asking for login and password. I do not know what credentials to use.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have also attached the image of the AP from my living room. When things were working great, I see the 2.4G light green in the AP. However, in the attached image you see there is an orange light and this is when I do not get smooth internet. Not sure if this gives you any clues but wanted to share it with you.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
