Switch as a router

I have a macbook air and have tried all the things today in the forum to get our 7550 ISX switch to get out of router mode. I have downloaded drivers, tried putting in codes into mac terminal and nothing has worked. Help, please!

Please share the screenshot of the error you are getting while opening the terminal in MAC. Also here I attach the steps on how to console access to switch in MAC.

Please follow the below steps for MAC console access to switch also steps to perform software recovery.

Mac iOS system solution

1-Install the drivers on your machine to read the cable type C to console the switch ( ICX-7150-C12P )

2-After successfully installing the Mac Drivers, open the Mac terminal, when you see the command prompt do the following:

Enter this command:

ls /dev/cu.*

This command will display something like this:

One of those logs will say something similar to /dev/cu.SiLabs_Serial (which is related to the drivers you installed)

3-Then enter the following command using the name of the installed driver that was displayed:

screen /dev/cu.SiLabs_Serial 9600

4-Hit Enter and you will have access to the ICX7150’s CLI. (Command Line)

I had to download serial 2 app to see the usb on my mac, as the other drivers you listed would not show the switch in the terminal. It now shows this on the terminal:

ICX7150-C12-Routers>

What is the next step to change it from router mode to switch mode?

As you got access to command line please enter the following commands and share the output.

ICX7150-C12 Router>

enable

show version

show flash

Note: Hit Enter to accept each command

I did all the things and set up both flashes as the switch but we are not having more drops than ever. Not sure what else to do.
