    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi &lt;a href="https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/17612"&gt;@Oliver&lt;/a&gt;,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ZD password can be recovered only:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;If we have a ZD debug or back up file which was taken out after changing the password, then from &amp;nbsp;those files support team can&amp;nbsp;extract the username and password for you with a support case.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;You can only reset an existing ZD password from a ReadWrite(RW) SNMP string.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you have details of the write SNMP community string available and a SNMP server which can be used to set new admin password, commands on SNMP server.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;snmpset -v 2c -c SNMPSTRING &amp;lt;DEVICEIP&amp;gt; &amp;lt;OBJECTNAME/OID&amp;gt; s "abcd" {For string}&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;e.g. (to change password to string &lt;STRONG&gt;test&lt;/STRONG&gt;)&lt;BR /&gt;root@SNMPSERVER:~# snmpset -v 2c -c Write123 10.1.1.1 .1.3.6.1.4.1.25053.1.2.1.1.1.1.26.0 s "test"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;SNMP MIB ref: &lt;A href="https://support.ruckuswireless.com/articles/000004433" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://support.ruckuswireless.com/articles/000004433&lt;/A&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If we do not have information on SNMP, any such files from the ZD then the only way is to hard reset the ZD&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
