Hello,
We recently receive a new batch or ZoneFlex 7982 and they seem to be not possible to get power thru our Cisco Switches 2960-T os S model which were powering already older ZoneFlex 7982 models that we had purchase six months earlier..
We get a Power-3-controller-port-err, Power controller reports power Imax error detected, What should we do to resolve our problem?
Also try powering your 7982s on every other (alternate) ports, and does that work?
How about 1 AP for each 4 ports? Some switch manufacturers use one power transceiver to power blocks of 4 ports. Spreading the power draw may help.
