Hi Luis,

Are you using a Ruckus PoE injector? The model number for Ruckus PoE injector is NPE-5818 which has Input: 48V – 1.25 A.

Make sure that you connect the APs's PoE port to the port named as ÄP/Bridge"and not "Network" of the Ruckus PoE injector.

Rahul

Test powering the APs with a new/different cable, and from a PoE switch if you have one (and apart
from other devices if you can, to assure full PoE).

Ruckus PoE injectors should work. And 7982s will power from standard 802.3af from most
switches. (test by not having them directly next to or above/below another PoE device, to
get full switch capacitor output) They should work in any port of 802.3at power switches.

If you determine you have bad PoE injectors, we'll swap them without having to ship APs.
