Has anyone used the ICOM IP1000C with ICOM RoIP Radios with Ruckus APs?

We have a location interested in deploying Radio over IP by ICOM. It looks pretty straight forward as long as we do not have isolation turned on and all of the devices connect to the secured SSID to obtain its IP.

Does anyone have any experience as to the quality of the sound or issues I should be aware of?

Hi Alan,

Did you get anywhere with this? I have a customer asking me if this is a suitable solution for their radio needs. My concern is with PTT and Mulitcasting

No, the customer went another route but looking at it for another upcoming opportunity.

Sound quality is excellent. However the devices seem to reconnect very slowly after a brief disconnect. Wich results in broken or missed conversations. Still figuring out what's causing this and how to fix it.
