Can a Smartcell 8800 backhaul to a Zoneflex 7731 using the 5GHz Radio interface? If so, is it straight forward?

I have a 7731 that I am using to create a PTMP network with other 7731s. I wish to add a SmartCell 8800 in the configuration.
Can this be done using the 5GHz Radio interface?
Are there any differences from joining two 7731s together?

Sorry no, you'd still have to use a pair of 7731 and a wired connection to the SC8800. There are other devices it can mesh with for backhaul purposes, but not the 7731.

Thanks for the clearing that up. As a follow up, would a 7762 be able to backhaul onto a 7731 instead of an 8800, still using the 5GHz radio interface?

That *might* work (with the 7731 configured as a "client" device) but I would recommend opening a support case to validate the design. https://support.ruckuswireless.com/co...
