Announcement: Ruckus Cloud WPA2 KRACK update starting tonight Nov 7, 2017 (PDT)!

Dear Ruckus Cloud Wi-Fi Customer,

We are rolling out a security patch to address KRACK vulnerabilities in WPA2. To learn more about KRACK and associated vulnerabilities, please visit our wireless resource center page at the link below. There are no actions required on your part.

When:

On Nov 7th, 2017 from 10:00 PM PST until Nov 8th, 2017 2:00 AM PST, the Ruckus Cloud team will apply a security patch to your APs.

End-User Impact:

During this time, each AP will update its firmware and restart, at which point it will be protected from the WPA2 vulnerability. The expected downtime for each AP will be approximately 3-4 mins.

Network Administrator Impact:

There will be no impact to the Ruckus Cloud Admin Portal.
