ZF7363 Radio 2 cannot set to 5G band after FW upgrade

I try to upgrade my ZF7363 with new FW. After upgrade, the admin web page just see radio 1 and radio 2 instead of radio 2.4G and radio 5G, and radio cannot set radio2 to 5G band (it's mean 5G never work any more). Can anyone have idea what happened and how to fix it? Thanks.

I don't know why my ZF7363-U show product as zf7942, it maybe why the 5G radio doesnot work normally....

Was the image you loaded on a 7942 image?

Also, 9.1.0.0.50 is ancient. Any reason you updated to that instead of 9.7.2 or 9.8.2?

Actually, I have tried 9.8.x 9.7.x 9.5.x 9.4.x, etc. but the result is the same. I use 7363 firmware to upgrade the ap, I don't know why it show 7942 in image information.
Ps.The original version before I upgrade is 9.1.0.5.33.

What is the current software version on the AP? Try to go back on the old working version and see if you get the correct radios . You can then do step by step upgrade according to the upgrade path .

Version 9.1.0.0.50 wasn't even an official beta, FCS, or patch build.

Here are links to a couple interim builds.

From your AP WebUI, go to Maintenance::Upgrade, and choose the Local
upgrade method. Then, you should be able to browse to the firmware you
downloaded above, one at a time, with a Maintenance::Reboot/Reset reboot
in between. Let us know if this works for you.

I can't go back to old working version, it's the version go with the ap when I purchase it. I can't find this version in official site.

Do you mean I need to upgrade to 9.1.2.0.8 first then upgrade to 9.7.0.0.220? I've tried 9.1.2.0.8 before, but the result is the same.

Hi Timer Ho,

I think if you are running supported software version then that should not take the second radio unless there is a hardware issue or something went wrong somewhere.

I suggest that you perform a hard reset on this AP to see if it helps. If you still don't get the 5ghz radio back then AP is gone bad. RMA is the next step.

Somewhere in this forum similar issue was reported which got sorted after reset.

I think the reason why you see ZF7942 when you are using ZF7363 is that hardware platform could be same.

My 2 cents.

Hi,
I've tried hard reset, but 5G radio still not go back. 5G radio is work as nornal before I upgrade FW, so that I don't think there is HW issue on the AP..

Hi Timer, were you able to use the 'Local' upgrade method to load new firmware onto your AP? Was it able to load them both ok, but you still don't see the 5G radio? If that is the case, please open a ticket with tech support, as you may need an RMA.

Monnat's idea about some model of APs showing another model in the sw image output of the support info is correct. The underlying platform is the same for some similar model APs. A 7372 shows 7352, R700 shows 7982 in sw image output for example.

Timer Ho, Pavel K, what version of firmware are you running now on your 7363?
Do you have 7363 AP, or 7363-u (usb) model APs? What do you see if you try
to configure your 5G radio SSIDs?

Hello. I have usb model, 7363-u. I tried to download firmware for 7363 for use with ZD. 7363-u not supported with standart images for ZD. After downloading image i cant see in web interface 3 ports lan, only 1. In RADIO2 i see no chance to configure WLAN1, 2,....I tried all adorble images for 7363 from ruckus support site. Now i have contact with ruckus ingeneer (friend) for claim to support for special soft. So, i am not understand, special models like 7363-u or 7372-u need special firmware and special package for ZD. I see connecting example for 73XX-u, this AP using with ZD. Where can i find firmware for this use?

Hello, I'm sorry but the 7363-U (usb) model AP was specially built for one particular customer in Asia,
and was never for sale or supported as General Availability for standalone or use by other customers.
