Hello,
I have 3 R510's in my home. 1 for each floor, ceiling mounted and placed central to each floor. None of the clients on our network can ever achieve more than 50Mbps. My PC which is 15ft around a slight corner from the AP got 30 Mbps down and 80Mbps up on an AP to Client speed test.

I am fairly technical, but Wi-Fi AP's is not my specialty. I found this great thread where changing the setting from "performance" to "compatibility" helped tremendously.
https://forums.ruckuswireless.com/ruckuswireless/topics/settings-to-maximize-performance-2-x-r610-running-unleashed

I don't see anything like that.

I have 1GB cable modem, and am about to change my network to a Dual Wan 1Gb Fiber Connection + a 200Mbps Cable connection. But none of this does any good if the clients are stuck at 30Mbps.

Any thoughts on how to optimize this network?

Thanks
FYI, that post was referring to R610 and you have R510, big difference.
What kind of speed is your ISP guaranteeing? Are you getting Fiber Optics to the home? Do you have the latest firmware for R510s? I had similar issue with Comcast and i debugged it for 6 months. Ended up being multiple issues. Comcast was not delivering 1Gbps, but kind of talked about it.... Switch over to AT&T Fiber Optics at 1Gbps and also upgraded my APs(one upstairs and one downstairs), keeping my existing switch(new modem/router from AT&T), and upgraded to R610s. Now my wifi speed 490Mbps Down/500Mbps Up typically around the house. Goes up to 550-600Mbps down at times.

I had Charter come out and do a speed test and I saw them get 1Gbps at the modem.
I am getting Windstream fiber 1Gbps service soon moving the cable modem down to 200Mbps and will eventually have some simple load balancing.

The speed test results I supplied are from AP to client, should not be dependant on WAN network interface speed.
Ohhh 30mb/s is very slow for a device on wifi, especially with the proximity you're talking about.
Iperf3 server on wired eth port of your 7150, and your Wi-Fi client device ( don't feel shy about posting driver info about that Client device) and test with `Iperf3 -c [insert IP address here, no brackets]` Which tests upload, then test with the `-R` switch, which tests download. you may consider kicking off all other clients from your AP first, just to rule out the possibility of a B client blowing up your Wi-Fi speeds, cuz as we know, once a B client joins, it slows the network down for everyone. THEN TEST!

From my earlier experience, the R510s do not have great antennas or you may have lots of interferences. How is your RSSI/SNR? May want to play with it and find a less noisy(less intereference) channels. Careful what these cable guys tell you, they might tell you one thing and showed you another.
My personal test directly connected showed varying results 400Mbs to 600Mbps, the cable guy did a test to the CMTS (edge router) and the pipe is definitely giving 1Gbps, which is fine.

My concern is AP to Client. Why would an AP to Client test only give me 30Mbps?

One more please show your output for `netsh wlan show interface` wanted to see what band you were on, and what the channelization is.
That card... I _know_ that card, I've used them for YEARS and YEARS! USB 2.0, and OEM driver support ended in 2013! Do you have a different test card?

This one is tough, if this was my install, I would from here, I would switch to a different client, I can see you're on 2.4ghz, so the 40mb/s on a single channel seems about as fast as the standard would see. Plus or minus a few mb/s. Can you disable 2.4ghz on your AP and re-test with the same client?

Well 50mbps would be acceptible on 2.4ghz 802.11g or older, but I'm using 802.11n which should support 300mbps. I'll try disabling 2.4 see what happens
