Red Power LED after Upgrading 7055 Firmware

I recently update the firmware in a Ruckus 7055 AP to ver 104.0.0.0.1347. Ever since, the power LED in the Access Point is solid Red after the AP has booted up. With the old firmware, the Power LED was green after boot up.

Otherwise the AP seems to be working normally. Does anyone have an explanation for this?

Hi Mike,

Constant red LED on power indicating some issue with hardware.

Try to factory reset the AP once. If you still face the same issue, proceed to open a support case and get the RMA done.

This evening I downgraded the 7055 to firmware ver 100.1.0.0.194. The power light is now green.
