I’m trying to find out what ruckus have designed the earthing terminals for on there access points. Is it for fault current protection? Static discharge? Over current protection? Surge protection to work in conjunction with an SPD on the Ethernet connection? Or possibly all the above? Is there any concerns for potential earth leakage (transient voltages from latent defects other electrical circuits) to cause potential faults to the antenna or internal circuitry.
