I know with google wifi, setting up static IPs for mobile phones required also figuring out which ports to forward to based on the mobile network.  But we're trying just putting in a static IP based on the MAC address of the device in open mesh to start.  I might need open mesh APs to make that work so my next step is to maybe bridge the Ruckus APs and set up the static IPs on the master.
