We are having this same issue. We have 15 - 20 AP in the field and we seen this 3 times in the last 4 months. We discovered if you change the AP (master to slave) and back it seems to fix this issue temporarily. If that doesn't work you need to reset the AP and start over.
Hello Tom,

Kindly open a case with Ruckus support as to identify the root cause for target fail "dram dump" needs to be taken from the problematic AP.
Hello Andrew,

The reason Target fail detected indicates a software crash but to know the exact reason we would need to extract dram dump from the AP. The dram dump can be taken from AP shell and hence restricted to Ruckus support. Kindly open a case with Ruckus support to collect the logs and provide a resolution.

Best Regards
Vineet
