R720 powering

I have R720 powered from PoE+ switch, switch logs:

Gi1/0/10 New LLDP TLV Request but with Invalid request 41300 max allowed power 30000

But in documentation i can read that:

"An 802.3at-compliant Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch or PoE injector.

• --OR--
An 802.3af-compliant Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch or PoE injector .

Note: If powered by 802.3af PoE, note that the feature set is reduced, as follows: - 1 x 4 radio chain operation mode - Second Ethernet port disabled - USB port disabled"

AP doesn't work ...

this might be related to LLDP support or issues on your switch (but it should still work / power on the AP). You can try SSH into the ap and run:

set power-mode af
(or "at" if you sw supports).

(then see if it powers up via your poe switch when its locked to AF , i also think you can force AF via the web interface on standalone ruk APs)

get power-mode shows the current setting (prob auto)
