Hi Chee Wong,

You are correct, but you need to type reboot once you have typed "set scg ip x.x.x.x"

where x.x.x.x is the SZ IP address.

Here is a YouTube video that will show you the process:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKd0o_bnpi4

Here is an article about the discovery process and the registration to an SZ controller:

https://support.ruckuswireless.com/articles/000003403

Regards,

Dear All Expert,

I would like to ask for provision new R510 to existing SZ. I need to change the AP IP address to the production network IP address then I only can SSH to the AP to provision the AP to the existing SZ via CLI "set scg ip“ correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks and Best Regards

Keep in mind that your smartzone has external NAT ip configured under cluster setup if the SZ is behind FW and also some firewalls need whitelisting for AP-s, they prevent SSH sessions.
