A 'power cycle' is a power off/power on of the AP. In other words, someone or something removed electrical power from the AP, usually by unplugging it.

If this is powered via POE - check your switch
If this is powered via a local DC power supply, check your power outlet

Actually, whenever an AP loses contact with the ZD, it restarts. The default setting is 10 minutes I believe. So, what you need to figure out is why the AP is losing its connection with the ZD.

Update: If an AP loses connectivity, the message I see is "AP Restart: Network unreachable reboot", not the "power cycle" you see.

That is impossible, you might be pinging the wrong IP. The AP rebooted so there had to be a minute or so of disconnection for sure.

As I said, if it's powered by POE, check the logs of the switch and also test the cable. Make sure it's not longer than 60m if CAT5/E or 80m if CAT6

A 802.3af PoE port delivers 15.4W and is meant to be able to deliver at least 12.95W of power to the end device.

Also if you are running a longer cable, you can use the Microsemi PoE extender to increase your cable run up to 500m:

http://www.microsemi.com/products/poe-systems/poe-extender

Increase the heartbeat timeout value to the AP to be something like 30mins.

When the network is under load the heartbeat to the AP can get lost and if the AP is constantly busy it will reboot based on your settings.
