we have ZD1200 Device and we are recently purchased R650 Access Points

when we connect to ZD it wont connect

ZD1200 Firmware : 10.1.2.0 build 306

R650 Firmware : 114.0.0.0.6565

please give me solution

R650 compatibility was added to the ZD1200 in release 10.4.1.

Since no AP models have been removed since this firmware, and 10.4.1 is very insecure now, I'd recommend installing the latest 10.5.1 firmware instead.

If all your existing APs are compatible and you're still up-to-date with your support contract then you're all good to upgrade.

If you are out of support then your ZD1200 won't let you perform upgrades. Contact support and see if they'll give you a temporary support license to allow you to upgrade: they've done this in the past when there were critical security vulnerabilities.

If you have very old APs so that you can't upgrade to 10.5.1, and your setup is simple then you might want to install Unleashed on the R650s. The only downside is you'll have two controller platforms which you need to manage until you decommission the remaining old APs.
