If the APs are not running on the Unleashed or if you are not aware of the credentials,
Then,
1. You will have to do a reset on all APs.
2. Bring up 1 AP, upgrade the AP to the above mentioned version. This will become Master.
3. Bring up the second AP and upgrade, this will automatically connect to the first AP as it is Master.
4. Do the same for reset of the APs.

Hi, I have inherited a network with 4 R320 AP's. I'm completely new to Rukus products so I am after some pointers on where to start.

It looks like the configuration is somehow corrupt and I need to gain control and reconfigure to new SSIDs etc. The units were originally setup by a business that no longer exists.

What is the best way to use these AP's? Should I reset back to default, do I need a controller of some sort (software running on PC), do I just set them up as standalone?

Any pointers would be gratefully accepted.

Hi @AGMS,

I believe the APs are running on Unleashed version>
1. You would first look into the AP details like IP address, GUI login details.
2. Once you have the you can access the Master from GUI (You can enter IP address of any AP in the gui https://ipaddress and it will redirect to Master's IP) and enter the credentials.
3. You can upgrade the R320 APs to the last supported version 200.15.6.212.14, this will also upgrade the other connected APs automatically.
https://support.ruckuswireless.com/software/4158-ruckus-unleashed-ap-200-15-mr2-software-for-r320

Once you have the APs upgraded, have a look on the configuration and see if everything is right.
