Assuming you're putting in an Unleashed solution, have a look at the Service Schedule section of this page: https://docs.commscope.com/bundle/unleashed-200.15-onlinehelp/page/GUID-F714A41F-7AF5-4D8D-AA98-808F4E2EF27E.html

You can segregate your different use-cases to different WLANs then you can turn off the non-essential WLANs any day and time you like (in 15 minute blocks).

Hi All

Looking for some advice based on the capabilities on the Ruckus R710,

We are designing a wireless network using the R710 AP and the customer requires that WIFI is not usable on certain times during the day on certain floors of the building.

First question is can you set a schedule based on times an APs radios should be disabled to exclude wireless access during these times?

Second question is can you set the same schedule to reduce the transmit power on the floors above and below the the floors where no coverage is required whilst keeping a basic connectivity on these floors where the AP transmit power would be reduced?

Thank you in advance

Kieron
