BLE/ZigBee embedded radio function

Dear all,

Can you please help me to understand the functionallity of access point's embedded BLE and ZigBee radios? I'm not getting why I need an IoT module (I100) to communicate with BLE/ZigBee devices if the AP has hardware prepared for it.

I have been trying to figure this one out as well. Any feedback from Ruckus team would be really welcome. I tested H550 and R550 and other models and none of them seem to have the BLE/ZigBee exposed in the Unleashed or managed mode.

You have to use SZ / vSZ to use IoT functionality.

Unleashed / ZoneDirector can't utilize IoT.

Hi,

IOT functions are supported only in SZ\vSZ platforms.
Unleashed and Zone Director are not supported.

Appreciate the feedback. Is there any variant of the vSZ and vRioT for non-enterprise use, i.e., licensing geared more towards small home use?
