      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Pawel,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yes, the two platforms are completely different and APs need to run a different version of firmware.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, depending on your version of ZoneDirector, there is a built-in SZ migration utility that does much of the hard work for you if your SmartZone isn't yet setup. &amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://docs.commscope.com/bundle/sz-511-sz100-vsze-administrator-guide/page/GUID-5BC85E0A-72F3-4813-AF1A-6A42C4151F70.html" target="_blank"&gt;https://docs.commscope.com/bundle/sz-511-sz100-vsze-administrator-guide/page/GUID-5BC85E0A-72F3-4813-AF1A-6A42C4151F70.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Alternatively if you just need to migrate individual APs, then you will need to load the APs with the 100/114 standalone firmware and perform a factory-reset, before adopting them to the SmartZone.
