Meshing functionality is not supported on R3XX ap's you would be looking at R5XX upwards.
Mesh is when you are not supplying a network cable to an AP and using it as a repeater.

Hi Stephen,

Mesh is not supported by default on R300/R310/R320, if I need mesh I would prefer R510 else I would use R310 which would serve the purpose and save some
