R310 with 200.7.10.202.127 show as unsupported in unleashed

Hi,

I'm trying to integrate an R310 with 200.7.10.202.127 into my setup with an R610 and H510 running 200.11.10.5.195. But it shows up as unsupported.

Should all versions of unleashed not be able to integrate or is the R310 (being EOL) just not able to do this ?

what does the release notes of version 200.7.10.202.127 show?

Look in the chapter supported APs.

Hi @casper_pedersen

You can check on the release note for the supported AP model. On 200.11.10.5.195 R310 is not supported and all Unleashed AP should be on same code to be managed. You can downgrade the higher code units to 200.7 where all three can be managed as per release note of 200.7 but you would not be able to update to any new code for any existing bug fix or new feature.

Unleashed version 200.7.10.202.127 supports the following RUCKUS AP models:
Indoor AP Outdoor AP
C110 E510
H320 T300
H510 T300e
M510 T301n
R310 T301s
R320 T310c
R500 T310d
R510 T310n
R600 T310s
R610 T610
R710 T610s
R720 T710
T710s

Hi Casper,

The R310 isn't supported beyond Unleashed 200.7. You will be able to run the R610 and H510 APs with the R310 on 200.7 but the R310's won't be able to join on 200.11.

You can run all of them on Ruckus Cloud, it might be worth considering an upgrade to your controller platform or updating the R310's to the new R350 models.

Update: Only a single version of Unleashed software can exist on any single Unleashed network.

@darrel_rhodes ahh, that explains it. I had as if all versions of Unleased could be joined, and not just major versions.

I don't mind I only got the R310 for a specific project, and when I'm done with it I'll sell it again.
