Hi, I have a RUCKUS system that was installed in my Lennar home when it was built about 8 years ago.
Today, both of my RUCKUS wireless access points stopped working at the same time. Neither access point has any lights on, including the PWR indicator. My home Wi-Fi network has completely disappeared from the Wi-Fi list on all of my devices.
The RUCKUS switch in my network cabinet is still powered on. The two switch ports connected to the 1st-floor and 2nd-floor WAPs are completely dark.
Things I've already checked:
- T-Mobile gateway shows a "Very Good" connection.
- Power strip in the network cabinet is on.
- Power-cycled the RUCKUS switch for about one minute.
- Reseated both WAP Ethernet connections.
- Both WAPs remain completely dark.
- Both WAP ports on the RUCKUS switch remain dark.
The system was working normally last night. I noticed a red light on the back of the access points last night, but today they are completely unpowered.
Could you please help me determine whether the ICX switch has lost PoE to the WAP ports and what I should check next?
